The Idaho Press-Tribune has named Sean Evans, publisher of the Idaho Business Review, as its new advertising director.
“Sean’s track record of success will no doubt be a wonderful asset for the Idaho Press-Tribune,” Press-Tribune publisher Matt Davison said. “I can’t wait to begin working with him. We are a growing and evolving media company and I’m very confident Sean’s experience will help us achieve new levels of success in our advertising department.”
Evans is an Oklahoma native who came to the Treasure Valley in 2009 to become publisher of the IBR. He has 20 years of experience working in newspapers and was the publisher of three newspapers in Oklahoma and Arkansas in addition to the IBR.
“The Idaho Press-Tribune is a very well-respected newspaper in the state of Idaho and has demonstrated its growth opportunities,” Evans said. “The Nampa market is growing strong, the Meridian market is growing strong and the whole Treasure Valley area is a place I’ve enjoyed living in and continue to see opportunities.”
Evans will start at the Press-Tribune on July 21.
